Mass Effect Andromeda Confirms: Weapon Crafting System With Custom Names

Mass Effect Andromeda Has Confirmed a Weapon Crafting System That Let’s You Get Funky With Names.

Mass Effect Andromeda‘s release continues to draw near, and the new news leaks continue to pour in. The newest is that we will receive a weapong crafting system complete with custom names!

This is something we have not seen in any of the previous Mass Effect titles. However, previous Bioware fans were able to utilize such a system in the Dragon Age series. It was an especially heavy element for weapons and outfitting your character in Dragon Age Inquisition.

The information comes directly from Lead Game Designer Ian Fraiser. He stated via Twitter that players will be able to craft their own weaponry (his example is a Krogan Hammer) and name it as they see fit.

It was already confirmed in a previous news release that players will have the option of swords and hammers. Now, as a result of the crafting confirmation, players will get the chance to customize their playstyle in ways previously unseen in the franchise. I don’t know about you but the ability to biotically blast, snipe, and now skewer my enemies makes me a bit giddy.

This follows in the footsteps of all the previously released exciting news that we have covered at COG! We will see improved relationships and sex scenes. Players will be able to earn single player campaign rewards while in multiplayer. We will also see enhanced dialogue options and storyline, the hype continues to grow. Indeed, Bioware is winding us up for their upcoming release and we are all hoping they deliver.
