Insomniac Speak Out Against Trump’s Immigration Ban
Last week we told you how a Trump import tax could impact the cost of video games. Today, Insomniac Games, the developer behind Ratchet & Clank and the upcoming Spider-Man game, released a video statement on YouTube taking aim at Trumps US immigration policy. In the video, President and CEO of Insomniac Games, Ted Price, issues statement concerning the executive order that President Donald Trump issued that barred visitors, refugees, immigrants, green card holders from seven Middle Eastern countries from entering or traveling to the United States.
As you can see below, Ted Price is seen standing in front of his development team at the Burbank studio to issue the statement. In it he says:
“We at Insomniac Games stand united in strongly opposing President Trump’s immigration ban. There’s no question that these orders will harm us as a company and many of our team members. So we ask: is this the American way? Is discriminating based on religious faith or national origin American? Absolutely not. This is a deplorable, discriminatory act that we, and many others across the nation, believe is patently unconstitutional. We have been, are, and will always be a nation of immigrants.”

Way to go Insomniac!
