According to an Online Listing, Sony Plans to Release the Remastered Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy in May
According to rumor, Sony’s long-awaited remastered title Crash Bandicoot N Sane Trilogy will be making its way to PlayStation 4 in May 2017. Although Sony has not announced an official date for when the vamped-up PS1 game will be making its way over to new-gen consoles, the Finnish online video game retailer VPD.fi has updated their website to include the trilogy, with the exact date being May 26.
The bundle will include the classic Crash games Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back, and Crash Bandicoot Warped, and is listed on the site for 59.99 Euro.
Although the same retailer listed the game under a different title, Crash Bandicoot Remastered, and set it for release on February 28, the site also noted that another Sony title, Horizon Zero Dawn, was set to release on the same day. The Crash title could have been pushed to a later date so it wouldn’t get buried in the wake of a large-scale PS4 game, but it could also be possible that the date is just a placeholder, as the site lists yet another PS4 exclusive game, Days Gone, for release on January 24. This release date is clearly impossible, but there’s still hope that we’ll be seeing Crash and friends (and enemies) in all of their remastered glory sooner than we hoped!
