Former Konami President, Shinji Hirano, Has Moved over to President of Kojima Productions
The former Konami president, Shinji Hirano, has moved from Konami Europe over to Kojima Productions and will be taking the role of president at Hideo Kojima’s newly formed studio. Hirano worked as president of Konami Europe for nearly a decade and is proud to be offering his finest expertise as overseer of the direction and management of the creative teams at Kojima Productions and moving forward as a driving force to help the studio achieve greatness.
After Kojima’s infamous split with Konami, Sony Computer Entertainment soon announced that PlayStation would be collaborating with Kojima’s newly-formed independent studio, Kojima Productions, to bring gamers an all-new Kojima title. The team over at Kojima Productions is currently working on their first game, Death Stranding.
