New Game on the Way from Director of Chrono Trigger
Final Fantasy XV is just a few weeks away so eyes are on Square Enix to deliver on a franchise that has seen its fair share of ups and downs over the years. As if Square doesn’t have enough going on facing that kind of pressure they recently announced Final Fantasy Legends II will be coming to mobile platforms and at the helm will be legendary game designer Takashi Tokita.
Best known for being the Director on one of the best RPGs ever made, Chrono Trigger, he also served as the lead designer on Final Fantasy IV. Just before the game was announced there was a countdown timer on the Final Fantasy Legend II website with a message from Takashi Tokita himself saying, ” Final Fantasy is about characters with anger and sadness and dramatic battles full of humanity. And more than anything else, we should not forget the fantasy.”
