Pokemon Shoes Are Going To Become A Thing
Late last month, Niantic Labs CEO John Hanke, the creator of Pokémon GO, hinted that certain services that helped players locate Pokémon creatures within the game may be shut down. He didn’t wait long to act as days later one of the more popular services, Pokévision.com, was effectively shutdown. Fear not Poké-hunters as tracking down monsters will get a whole lot easier again when some new fancy shoes are released. These kicks help you become the ultimate Pokémaster.
Today we learned that Technology company Vixole is designing a Pokémon themed shoe that can link to your smart phone via a thin LED layer and vibrate when a wild Pokemon is nearby. This allows you to keep your phone tucked away while you to watch where you are going.
Check out the promotional video of the Pokémon GO smart sneakers below:
Other ways the sneakers work is that they can link to Google Maps and vibrate when you need to make a turn. They also vibrate when receiving a call or text.
The sneakers look pretty stylish as well but unfortunately they are not on sale just yet, but will be available for pre-order with the launch of a Kickstarter in September.
