Here are the PlayStation Plus free games for September
It’s that time again, PlayStation Plus members, when we find out what goodies the folks at Sony have decided to throw our way as part of that monthly membership. September’s list of PlayStation Plus free games looks pretty good, with hack-n-slash mixed with a dash of zen relaxation, and more.
The first major highlight is Journey. You might be familiar with this indie title, as it got a lot of positive fan feedback when it came out for the PS3 originally. It’s been updated for the PS4’s hardware, with the usual visual sprucing-up, and it is the kind of game that is actually pretty cool to re-play even if you have finished it before. If you haven’t, well, you’re in for a treat. Finding yourself alone in the desert, you must make your way to the mountaintop. Along the way, you uncover secrets and story points that are full of mystery and wonder. It’s a great game no matter how you look at it, and now it’s free.
Next up, we have Lords of the Fallen. It’s a combat-based game that, as PlayStation Blog describes, has you “looking for redemption for past sins, you play as Harkyn and try to end a war between humans and the gods. There’s lots of customization, and a story wherein the choices you make matter to your experience. Some have called it a kind of “Dark Souls Lite,” and we here at COGconnected reviewed it and we were impressed. So check out this one of you haven’t yet already.
