Fallout New Orleans Trademark Registered, Possibly In Development

Fallout New Orleans In The Works?

Earlier today we reported how the final piece of Fallout 4’s Season Pass is nearing closer and soon we’ll be able to see what lies behind the gates of Nuka-World. The massive park features a variety of factions warring for control of the entire park, and we’ll be able to explore it in all of it’s majesty on August 30th. Today, more Fallout news surfaced as Fallout New Orleans could potentially be in development.

Fallout New Orleans

According to press-start.com, Fallout New Orleans has been trademarked on the European Intellectual Property Office. This could suggest that Bethesda and Obsidian are working on a follow-up to the hugely successful Fallout 4 game.

We recognize this information should be taken with a grain of salt as the publisher has not released an official statement. This being said, a Fallout New Orleans game isn’t entirely out of the question.

Fallout New Vegas arrived 2-years after Fallout 3. If released in the winter of 2017, that would put the next Fallout game 2-years after Fallout 4’s release. New Vegas was not a direct sequel, so we don’t anticipate New Orleans would be a sequel either and we anticipate it will use the same engine as Fallout 4.

What do you think of this trademark? What would you like to see in the next Fallout experience?
