Penny Arcade has announced that the keynote speaker for PAX West 2016 will be delivered by the well-known, former creative director of the Uncharted series and the current senior creative director of Visceral games, Amy Hennig.
“Amy’s revolutionary work on the Uncharted series played an immeasurable role in shaping the modern gaming landscape,” said Jerry Holkins, co-founder, Penny Arcade in a press release. “We’re thrilled PAX West attendees will have the chance to listen to one of gaming’s leading visionaries.”
Hennig has worked with Naughty Dog for more than a decade, helping craft the popular Uncharted franchise and giving life to one of modern gaming’s most iconic heroes. Now at Visceral Games, Hennig is currently undertaking a project based in the Star Wars Universe.
PAX West will be held at the Washington State Convention Center from September 2-5 and the full schedule of panels and speeches will be live via the guidebook mobile app later this week.
