Good Chance We See Unannounced Star Wars Titles Debut At E3
Today, Jade Raymond happened to publish an interesting bit of news, given how close we are coming up on E3. She confirmed that EA’s presence at E3 is a given, but that Visceral Studios is also going to be making an appearance, especially interesting considering that we have a rough idea of what they are working on. Jade Raymond did confirm that Visceral Games is hard at work on a brand new Star Wars game, aiming to be authentic to the universe.
Visceral Games aren’t alone however. Jade Raymond also confirmed her company, Motive Studios is now at a whopping 65 people, and they are all very hard at work on a Star Wars game as well. They are also tackling an original IP, and could be bringing something fresh into the industry. Whether their Star Wars game is a collaboration with Visceral Studios or whether it’s something else is entirely up for debate, but one thing is for sure. Star Wars is insanely popular right now, and you can bet we’ll be seeing some video games tying in with the new trilogy of movies.
Both studios pack some serious talent behind them, and it’s also interesting to note that the Motive, and likely Visceral as well, are working very closely with the creative minds behind Star Wars to ensure that the franchise continues to do right by fans. As we near closer and closer to E3, you can bet that COGConnected will have every single detail, should these titles rear their faces at the event. Given how closely Jade Raymond is posting this to E3, it’s definitely worth an eyebrow raise or two (maybe even at the same time.)
