Naughty Dog Won’t Rest, Uncharted 4 Gets Another Patch & Update

Uncharted 4 Gets Another Patch and Live Update

Naughty Dog isn’t just sitting back watching all those Uncharted 4 sales figures rise. In fact, the developer remains hard at work updating the game as they released patch 1.06.021 and a corresponding server-side live update numbered 1.06.21.

Uncharted Series Hero

Here’s the update:

Mutiplayer Patch 1.06.20:

  • Workaround to prevent heavy graphical corruption which affected some some players
  • Fixed loss of profile data and added safeguards*
  • Fixed booster unlocks resetting
  • Fixed some players not being able to download live updates due to ISP caching

Naughty Dog also noted: “We are unable to recover previously corrupted profiles. However these safe measures should prevent this issue from occurring in the future. If there is another variation of this issue that these do not cover, please leave a report in the feedback forum listed below of what happened to you.”

Multiplayer Live Update 1.06.021:

  • Fixed some idol duplication and respawn issues in Plunder
  • Updated Message of the Day

As far as updates are concerned, this patch isn’t a big download as it only requires only 84.61 megabytes of your bandwidth.

We reviewed Uncharted 4 last month and said this about the game:

“There are parts of this review that make it feel like a eulogy. We’re saying goodbye to a beloved hero and to a beloved series. When the credits finally began to roll for me, there was a sense of loss as thanks was rolled out to Amy Hennig in a very nice touch by the creative team. It was then that I realized this was it. This was the last time I would pick up a controller and get to see what crazy, globe hopping, lost city finding adventure Nathan Drake would charismatically lead me on. The conclusion to the series is fitting, harkening back to Naughty Dog’s early days while also giving us a suitable send off to the Drake’s. Fitting, but still an end.”
