Bethesda says Fallout 4 Xbox One mods have  already been a huge success, and “new features” coming
As we told you recently, Fallout 4’s Xbox One players finally got access to the game’s mods this week, and the launch has been a massive success, apparently. Bethesda has said on Twitter that the number of players using the Fallout 4 Xbox One mods is way ahead of PC figures for its initial introduction of mods earlier this year via the Creation Kit.
Xbox traffic was 50x the initial #Fallout4 PC mod launch. It's a new world & just the beginning. New features & PS4 support in the works.

“Xbox traffic was 50x the initial Fallout 4 PC mod launch,” Bethesda says. “It’s a new world & just the beginning …Â We tried for 15 years & mods are finally on a console. Check them out. Thanks for your patience and support!”
If you are an Xbox One gamer and have yet to try the new mod option, check out our full guide on how to get started. Although there are only a limited number of mods to start, Bethesda’s database has over 2,000, so expect to see lots more in the future. One thing to keep in mind, though: if you want to use a mod for the game’s DLC content, such as Far Harbor, you’ll need to purchase the DLC seperately, of course.
In other interesting news, Bethesda also teased “new features” for the game’s mods, although they didn’t give any further details as to what that means. Now, if you are a PS4 player and have been waiting for mods to arrive, that is still planned for some time in June, according to Bethesda. We don’t yet know exactly how they will be implemented, but we can expect it will be a similar process to what has happened on Xbox One.
