Immerse Yourself In Old World With Total War: Warhammer On May 24th
Fans of both Total War and Warhammer fantasy could not have been more elated at the announcement for Total War: Warhammer when it first dropped, and now the game is nearing its actual release. Creative Assembly is aiming to draw in more than just the hardcore fans of the series however, and COG has more tantalizing information for those eager to pick up Total War: Warhammer on May 24th.
Total War: Warhammer is downright massive in scale, and is essentially two games for the price of one. You can lead your chosen faction on the massive Grand Campaign map, where you will manage your empire’s diplomacy, economy, and military conquests. You’ll also have legendary heroes form within your faction to make use of in a pinch, being able to customize them even further to meet your specific playstyle. They’ll even have personal quests to complete aside from the campaign, with the benefit of providing added rewards for helping level up your heroes. As you progress in the game and expand your empire you’ll have a variety of challenges to tackle.
Naturally, space is at a premium, and other factions won’t take too kindly to those who spread out rapidly. Total War has been a series regarded for its massive battles, and that bears especially true for the Warhammer series, it’s a match made in heaven. You’ll view massive battles, as huge flying monsters swoop down to tear through your sizable armies, and to see it all play out in motion is going to be a genuine treat not just for fans of the Total War series, but for those Warhammer fans whose grand skirmishes were restricted to the table top and a bit of imagination.
