Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC Improvements Coming, Says Bethesda

Fallout 4 Far Harbor will get some fixes and improvements soon

With the Fallout 4 Far Harbor DLC having just released, Bethesda has announced that they are still working on improvements which will be coming soon.

Speaking on their community forums (via WCCFTech), Bethesda says that they will be working on more improvements for the DLC, and are aware of problems players are currently facing. It was not clear which particular problems Bethesda was referring to, but the framerate has been reportedly bad at times on Xbox One and PS4. Here is their statement:

“We made optimizations based on the Far Harbor beta feedback, but understand some people are experiencing issues. We are actively working on more improvements. As we have news and information, we’ll update this post.

Thank you for playing Fallout 4.”

Far Harbor is Fallout 4’s latest DLC, following the earlier expansions, Automatron and Wasteland Workshop. Far Harbor, however, is different in that it is what Bethesda boasts is a massive new landmass that significantly enlarges the base game’s area.

With such a huge piece of new content, glitches and bugs are not a surprise – plus the fact that Bethesda is legendary in the industry for its bug-riddled games, something their players have had a love/hate relationship with.

Fallout 4 Far Harbor Feature

Fallout 4 Far Harbor is now available on Xbox One, PS4 and PC. It centres around a new case from the Valentine Detective Agency, taking you to Far Harbor to investigate. Once there, the new region offers unique new items and fearsome new monsters to challenge veterans of the original. Check out this full list of Far Harbor’s Trophies.
