In a nutshell, Director Hajime Tabata thanks fans for watching the big event and notes that the Platinum Demo has been extremely well receieved. He goes on to mention the many complaints that Square Enix received from fans who could not get their hands on the upcoming Final Fantasy XV Ultimate Edition. The pre-orders that were available disappeared in an instant so the company is looking at how they can increase the production of the premium edition.
Tabata-san also addresses the fact that Square Enix fully intends to look at how many pre-orders are now thought to be up for resale which is against the terms of service for the original purchase. Should they truly be able to do that then a few more editions might pop back up for sale. In the long run, despite the high cost of the Ultimate Edition, it looks like fans don’t care and no matter how many manage to be released, will be eaten up in a hurry.
