If a sell ad on Newegg is to be believed we’ll be seeing a brand new Ghostbusters game hit the PS4 and Xbox One just a few days before the new movie hits theatres. Nothing has been officially announced by Activision so we can only assume this to be true. The likelihood is high of course seeing as the numbers definitely line up in terms of the movie release.
The new Ghostbusters movie, stars Melissa McCarthy as a paranormal researcher, Kristen Wiig as a physicist, Kate McKinnon as a nuclear engineer and Leslie Jones as a subway worker who team up to try to rid New York of ghosts that can possess humans. It hits theatres on July 15 and the response to the recently released trailer has been mostly positive with fans getting pretty excited to see the world’s first lady ghostbusters.
Sadly, most move tie-in games are notoriously bad so we can only hope that this new Ghostbusters game bucks the trend. Keep it locked to COGconnected for more information as we get it.
