Ubisoft has confirmed that the first two expansions for Tom Clancy’s The Division will be exclusive to Xbox One for 30 days. The third expansion, Last Stand, will be available on both the PS4, Xbox One, and PC when it comes out this winter.
Here is the Ubisoft statement, via Ubiblog:
“Ubisoft has announced today that the first two of the three paid expansions for The Division – Underground and Survival – will have 30-day exclusivity on Xbox One, starting from the day of their respective launches. Underground, the first paid expansion, puts Agents in New York’s labyrinthine underworld of tunnels and subways to track down groups of dangerous enemies. Survival, the second paid expansion, tests players’ ability to survive and gather crucial supplies in an incredibly hostile environment.”
Underground is due to release in June of 2016; therefore, we can expect it to hit PS4 and PC in July of 2016.
As we revealed recently, Ubisoft’s post-launch plans for The Division include number of free updates that will add features to the game. Then, at least 3 expansions have been announced for the first year.
