Rockstar Classics ‘Bully’ and ‘Manhunt’ Appear on European PSN Store for PS4

Two of Rockstar’s biggest games of the PS2 era showed up on the European PSN store yesterday. Both Bully and Manhunt were quite controversial titles for their time and ended up selling like gang busters and now you can play them on your PS4. Completely unannounced and without any fanfare they debuted at the price of £11.99 which equates to roughly $18.00. As with many releases from past gens to the current gen we see trophies, upscaled 1080p resolution and PS4 sharing support added. Don’t believe us? Check out both Bully (Canis Canem Edit in Europe) and Manhunt for yourself! Of course we haven’t heard a thing about a North American release as of yet but we imagine it can’t be too far off.

In Bully you play as Jimmy Hopkins and rise through the ranks of the Bullies, Nerds, Preppies, Greasers, and Jocks at the fictional Bullworth Academy. Beloved for its gameplay, story and open world freedom, Bully reviewed very well upon release and sold nearly 1.5 million copies. Stirring a little bit of controversy it did allow for the opportunity of bisexual content which drew the ire of some critics… get over it, right?

Manhunt was similarly controversial but for much different reasons. Perhaps one of the most gruesomely violent games of its time it puts players in the shoes of James Earl Cash, a death row prisoner who finds himself as the subject of a snuff film. He is promised his freedom, but only under the condition that he is able to survive a city full of brutal gang members out to hunt him down. Another classic that reviewed very well, it received a fair amount of criticism for its graphic violence and was even banned in some countries.

If you happen to live in the EU and have a few extra pounds to shed then get on it! If you’re on North American soil… wait for today’s PSN update and see if we’re just as lucky.
