A Need for Speed update coming on November 25th will brings a huge set of fixes, changes, and additions to the street-racing game. Changes include AI behaviour, making AI more authentic, an increase to the REP limit, and “a number of bug fixes.” One new feature that stands out in the update is the addition of Community Events, which will give you information about any community events that are running, or due to run.
Here is a full list of the Icon Update contents, arriving November 25th:
- AI Catchup:Â balances to the AI to improve the experience
- Community Events: notices that tell you of upcoming in-game events and offers, such as
- Bonus REP events will reward you with more REP
- Bonus cash events will grant an increase in money
- Discounts events will offer discounts on various in game items
- New icon cars added such as Ken Block’s Hoonicorn and Morohoshi’ Lamborghini Diablo SV
- Neon lights available for your car
- A New color picker will feature recent colors, pre-set colors, recent materials, pre-set materials, and numerical values on the color sliders so you can be much more precise when selecting a color or material
- Improved mirror decal process
- The REP limit will be increased from 50 to 60
- A host of new Daily Challenges, with an eye on balancing the types of events with less focus on Outlaw
- There will be three new trophies and achievements for you to earn, such as:
- Fanboi – Put any of the new icon cars in your garage
- Iconoclast – Win and event with each of the new icon cars
- Mental Unblock – Get 350,000 Drift Score in Mental Block using Ken’s Car
- Thirty new pre-set wraps, ready for you to use across a variety of cars
