Plants vs. Zombies 2 today released a new content update, Neon Mixtape Tour: Side A, available now in the Apple App Store and Google Play.
This new 80’s themed update lets you mix it up with new plants with some crazy abilities including: Phat Beet, a plant who sends out a rumbling damage pulse, Thyme Warp, an instant-use plant that rewinds all currently-living zombies back to the first square in their lane, and Celery Stalker, a low plant a-la potato mine that grows and begins meleeing zombies behind it.
In addition to the new plants, you’ll also encounter nine new zombies including, Hair Metal Gargantuar, a guitar smashing zombie that unleashes an epic sonic wave, and Glitter Zombie who spreads rainbows and light wherever she goes.
All this, plus 16 new 80’s-themed levels and four unique music genres added to the soundtrack makes this update one of the most radical ones yet.
