Become the Next Crab God
Developer Chaos Theory Games and publisher Firesquid have announced the release date for their upcoming title Crab God. This amazing God simulator will be launching on PC via Steam on 20 June 2024. Check out the official gameplay video to take a sneak peek at all the exciting features of the game.
Crab God is a tactical yet wholesome builder game where you take on the role of an all-powerful deity for your worshipers. You must grow your Crabling colony and safely lead them across the dangerous depths of the ocean. These Crablings must perform their daily duties for development, such as foraging, farming, and, of course, worshiping.
This won’t be as easy as you expected as dangers are lurking in every corner. Other sea creatures might attack them anytime, stealing their food destroying their ecosystem, and preventing them from progressing. It is your responsibility as their leader to make sure everything goes well.
The game provides players with an opportunity to make a difference beyond their own little crab family. It features integrated dots.eco, in-game actions have a direct impact on the real world, helping to clean up our oceans and protect aquatic life. The developers have dedicated their work to creating a positive impact throughout their career and this title is not an exception.
Players can also learn more about aquatic wildlife and habitats as they play, and discover new plants and animals. All the while helping the planet from the comfort of their home. The game is currently taking part in Steam’s Earth Appreciation Festival and it will be also a part of the SteamNext Fest in June. A public playtest will take place next month for all those eager to get their claws on this one.
