Far Cry 5 Fan Makes a New Ready Player One Arcade Map

Far Cry 5 Meets Ready Player One in New Arcade Map

Far Cry 5 has been one of the biggest releases of the year so far, selling five million copies in the first week alone, and now the game just got even better. A fan has made a whole new arcade map that merges the popular title with Ready Player One.

Despite the fact that the mania for Reader Player One has died down, one fan brought the movie (or book) straight into Far Cry 5’s Hope County Montana. Reddit user cWigginsNYC has built a map in Far Cry 5’s Arcade Mode of the “Stacks” from Ready Player One. The “Stacks” are dozens of trailers that are stacked on top of one another, all held together by metal beans. If you’ve read the book, or even seen trailers for the movie, you’ll likely recognize these.

And if you haven’t heard anything about this Arcade mode, it’s a brand new feature to the Far Cry series. This game mode allows players to enjoy unlimited Far Cry experiences built by the fan community. Using the Arcade Map Editor, players can create either solo or multiplayer maps, using a variety of assets from the most popular Ubisoft tiles. And if you don’t want to create anything, players can just jump into maps made by other members of the fan community. You can check out this new Arcade map, called The STAX, below.
