Guaranteed to Be More Entertaining Than the Second Movie
Pinball FX3, the popular pinball platform service, is getting Jurassic World-themed tables on February 20th, Zen Studios has confirmed today.
Zen Studios is releasing three all-new tables in celebration of the 25th Anniversary of the original Jurassic Park film. They will be themed around the lore and history of the franchise and inspired by events from both Jurassic World and Jurassic Park.
The first table, the Jurassic World Pinball table, will feature dialogue from the film while having players train Raptors and neutralize Pteranodons, escaping the Indominus Rex, and feeding the Mosasaurus. One mode will also transform your pinballs into Gyrospheres. The Jurassic Park Pinball table will allow players to outrun the T Rex in the classic movie jeep, hunt Velociraptors, or outsmart them in the kitchen. As you can guess, this table is all about reliving some of the original movie’s iconic scenes.
The last table, Jurassic Park Pinball Mayhem, will task you to keep escaped dinosaurs at bay, handle emergencies, save trapped workers, and more, all the while helping to return the park to its former glory. You’ll also control a Stegosaurus battling a T Rex!
“Just like Jurassic World’s scientists created genetically modified hybrid dinosaurs, so too have Zen’s developers created an amazing hybrid between great pinball simulation and beautiful video game,” says Mel Kirk, VP of Publishing at Zen Studios. “Jurassic Park has a very respectable pinball legacy—we still play the ‘90s arcade table to this day—and we’re honored that Universal has entrusted us to continue that through Pinball FX3 with our Jurassic World Pinball pack. It’s an amazing way to celebrate 25 years of one of our favorite film franchises ever.”
The three-pack will be available on PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, Steam, and Windows 10 PCs. It’ll also be available on iOS, Google Play, and Mac via the Zen Pinball app.
