Ori Dev Is “99 Percent Certain” We’ll See Bloodborne 2 at E3 2017

The Sequel to One of 2015’s Best Games Could Be at Hand

As gamers, we place a lot of faith in developers and creators. However, consider this case. When a new thread opened up on NeoGaf asking “Do you think we’ll see Bloodborne 2 at E3?”, CEO and Game Director of Moon Studios, Thomas Mahler, had an interesting response:

Bloodborne 2

“I’m 99% certain we’ll see it :)”

Smiley face and everything. Could this be a major hint that he is in the know? Or is he expressing his fan wishes like everyone else? Maybe he’s pointing us to the ledge and saying “jump.”

Mahler, as you may or may not know, headed the creation of Ori and the Blind Forest, the platformer that caught the hearts of Xbox One players in 2015. As a well-known developer now, his input could mean a lot. The same can be said of other developers with connections in the industry. If he says Bloodborne 2 is coming, that’s enough to stir belief. Actually, it’s all die-hard fans really need.

Since Bloodborne sales did so well, a sequel seems like a certainty in the future. We’re simply thinking it may be sooner rather than later. Moreover, the game was a critical hit when it launched back in 2015. The main difference between now and then may be that creator Hidetaka Miyazaki is not attached.

We’ll know more at this year’s E3. In the meantime let us know your thoughts on the possible announcement of Bloodborne 2. Are you hoping with all hope? Comment down below.

See you at E3.
