New Nintendo Switch Game, The Sacred Hero, Gets Teaser

Developer Simplistic Reveals New Trailer for Anticipated Nintendo Switch Game

Gamers everywhere have been awaiting more news on the Nintendo Switch. Just as patiently, we’ve awaited knowledge on the types of games that will be available for the new console. And now, Developer Simplistic has just released a new teaser trailer for their Nintendo exclusive, The Sacred Hero. Watch it here:

While these images provide some new insight, emphasis on some, Simplistic addressed the noted issues following its release. This can currently be found in the comments section of the video:

It has been noticed that many people are complaining about the sword being from The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess and the teaser including a low gameplay FPS. The sword has been used as a ‘placeholder’ due to the game’s early development and we do not plan on using any content from other games or creators without their authorization to do so in the final game, especially Nintendo. Secondly, there is lag spikes in this teaser due to the game’s early development and how it is not properly optimized yet. The FPS drops will lower as development continues. Thank You.

But it is better not to overlook the added information from this trailer. Its entire purpose seems to be showcasing the games 3D aspect. Originally, The Sacred Hero was depicted at this year’s E3 in 2D. Since Simplistic has, so far, revealed the game would play with a “twist” on RPG, we are left to speculate. It is entirely possible that this Nintendo Switch game will utilize 2D and 3D gameplay in a transitioning narrative. If that is the case, then we may see a trend with future titles in the vein of the Nintendo 3DS. The quality, however, remains in question. For anyone who has not seen the first trailer for E3, see it down below:

Simplistic’s The Sacred Hero is set for release in 2018. And they have already assured players that development will improve graphics and gampeplay. What we currently have are glimpses of the earliest stages, and can expect more pertinent pieces of news until then.

For now, drop us some some of your expectations in the comments. What are your thoughts on this game and the Nintendo Switch overall?
