Warhammer: Vermintide 2 Mercenary Gameplay

Warhammer is a series that has been around for ages across all forms of medium: be it video games, table top, books, and much more. When Vermintide first launched in 2015 it was a fun and interesting co-op game set in the Warhammer universe. With the sequel – Vermintide 2 – recently launched on PC, it was time we jumped back into the world of Warhammer to see what the Skaven are up to this time. The game looks fantastic with some great updates over the original, but how does it play? Check out our gameplay video below to see Vermintide 2 in action.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is set in the fictional Warhammer universe. Like its predecessor, Vermintide 2 is a first person co-op game in which players will form teams of four to take on large groups of NPC enemies. The game does not allow players to stray too far from one another, instead relying heavily on the strength of the group as opposed to the individuals within. Vermintide 2 features a new career system, offering each class of fighter a number of job paths to go down depending on the gamers preferred play style.

While the first game sold over 500,000 copies in a year, the sequel has actually sold 500,000 copies in the first four days of its release. Players have been having a blast with this one, so if the prospect of teaming up with your friends to mow down hordes of enemies in first person grabs your attention it is definitely worth checking out.

Warhammer: Vermintide 2 is currently available on PC, and is rumored for release later this year on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. For more information, check out the games official website.
