It’s been a long time since we’ve had an ace tennis game. Giants of the genre have been absent for over a decade and due to this, fans have had to contest with fault after fault. 2K finally brings the lauded franchise, TopSpin, out of retirement but will this be an epic return or a mishit?
The TopSpin games have always delivered a true-to-life representation of the sport. While games like AO Tennis have tried to replicate this, they have never captured the same balance of simulation and arcade gameplay. This return to the court looks to develop on what came before to serve up an ace. With stars on the court in both the male and female divisions, this has the potential to be the ultimate tennis game.
