Rico is Back to Raise a Little Mayhem in Just Cause 4
Rico is back! Yes, The Scorpion has returned for another fantastic jaunt through a massive open world with guns, flying, cars, and explosions aplenty. Like something out of a Michael Bay fever dream, Just Cause 4 takes everything you know and love from the series and takes it one step further with natural disasters – because how else can you make a series about espionage, overthrowing totalitarian governments, car chases, and general mayhem even more dangerous? Some question what the game could add to the series beyond tornadoes and powerful storms, but Just Cause 4 has stepped up its game in the way of content, accessibility, and true sandbox gameplay. Just Cause 4 is the latest installment in the Just Cause franchise. Rico Rodriguez returns as he discovers the Black Hand – a series recurring mercenary group – may have a connection to his father. Rico travels to Solis, a fictional South American country in which the Black Hand is based, for answers. This again marks an entry in the series in which Rico has a personal vendetta in the narrative as opposed to being a black ops operative, but it fits in smoothly with all of the 80’s B-action movie tropes the series is known for. With customizable loadouts for your grappling hook and a host of new gameplay tweaks to make this the best entry in the series yet, Rico is set to do some serious damage to Solis.
Just Cause 4 is set for release on December 4, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information check out the game’s official website, and be sure to stay tuned for our official review as it gets closer to release.
