Remnant: From the Ashes is Unforgiving & Forged in Furious Fire

Remnant: From the Ashes Video Review

While it can be an overstated metaphor to claim a game is as hard as Dark Souls, the developers at Gunfire Games have done their best to craft an original experience that tries its hardest to live up to that legendary experience of skill-based combat. Coupling the destroyed, apocalyptic world with terrifyingly difficult bosses, procedurally generated dungeons, and some tight third person shooting action, Remnant: From the Ashes comes out swinging a bloodied hammer with a vengeance. The real question of course is whether or not it strikes true or falls by the wayside as a simple clone. Curious what the answer may be? Check out our full video review below.

Remnant: From the Ashes is a third person skill-based looter shooter set in the apocalypse where a demonic species, the Root, have invaded and decimated the world as we know it. Humanity is banding together – what remains of it – in an attempt to fight back and take the world back from these horrid creatures. Featuring tight shooting, heavy crafting mechanics, and a procedurally generated world for the campaign, no two playthroughs will be quite the same. Enemy placement, bosses, and loot will all drop in different places at different times. The campaign can even be re-rolled for an all new layout back at square one without affecting the strength of your character or their progress.
