Why Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden Could be Amazing
One of the most unique reveal trailers we have seen in some time, Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is shaping up to be something special that we should all have on our radar. Featuring a sassy pig, a top hat wearing duck, a stone skinned woman, and some brilliant turn-based strategic combat, Mutant Year Zero had us hooked right from the beginning. It is dripping with personality and we are cautiously optimistic this will be a huge deal. Why, you ask? Check out our video below to see our thoughts on this upcoming title and find out.
Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is a third-person tactical combat game in the same vein as the XCOM series, yet it blends in its own unique narrative with choices playing an integral part of the game as well as including exploration and stealth tactics. Players can unlock perks and upgrade the ragtag band of misfits you’ll be playing, as well as featuring what looks to be a deeply broken world in the aftermath of a massive war. The whole package just looks fantastic and we can’t wait to get our hands on it.
Are you looking forward to stepping into the broken world with this colorful cast of characters? Let us know your thoughts on Facebook, Twitter, or the Comments section below. Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden is scheduled for release this year, and will be available on PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. For more information, check out the game’s official website.
