Destiny 2: Forsaken – Gambit Gameplay
Whether you’ve never played Destiny, got tired of the grind, or you’ve always remembered what it means to be a Guardian, there has never been a better time to be a part of Destiny 2. The recently announced DLC Forsaken is set to be an absolute – and literal – game changer compared to the previously released content. One of the most interesting announcements made for Forsaken was the addition of an all-new multiplayer mode called Gambit, pitting two teams of four against one another in indirect combat. Destiny 2: Forsaken is the latest DLC coming to the genre-defining sci-fi shooter. Players will work alongside Cayde-6 in an attempt to stop a brutal prison break in the Rift where an all-new race of enemies has been held captive at the hands of our favorite hunter. The game will offer a complete overhaul to the loadout system, brand new Super attacks for every class, hundreds of weapons, and so much more. As seen above, Forsaken also features a new 4 v 4 multiplayer mode called Gambit, in which two teams work to drop powerful enemies into the other teams arena, with one player from each team able to invade the opposing side and make even more mayhem.
We should also mention, copies of Destiny 2: Forsaken will come with a character boost. This boost is called a Spark of Light and will help new players quickly level up and get right to the DLC. Unlike the original Destiny, this new consumable will now work from the character select menu, and treat the character it’s used on as if they’ve actually finished the campaigns from Year One’s offerings.
