Modern Warfare’s Night Vision Effects are Fantastic
Just the other day we told you about Modern Warfare’s open beta. The beta will feature crossplay testing on weekend 2, where fans will be able to get their hands-on ahead of the game’s launch on October 25. See specific dates HERE. Today, we have a video showing you some of Modern Warfare’s killer night vision googles.
As you can see, the night vision effects look sharp. We were told the development team researched the history of night vision and did everything they could to reproduce it. It makes for amazingly realistic night vision effects, possibly the best night vision effects we’ve ever seen in a shooter. It also added a layer of strategy. When your night goggles are equipped your gun shines a laser in the ready position. So you need to be selective when aiming your weapon. We definitely recommend lowering your weapon when moving around the map at night as the laser sight gives your position away.
As players enlist in the heart-racing Modern Warfare story, multiplayer continues the experience as players head online into the ultimate playground for the global balance of power. Featuring unified progression across modes, Modern Warfare seeks to unite the community with plans to support cross-play across platforms and the removal of the traditional season pass in order to deliver a greater mix of more free maps, content and community events post-launch.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is scheduled for release on PlayStation 4 system, Xbox One, and PC on October 25.
