Broomstick League Gameplay Preview
Who among us hasn’t wished they could soar through the skies? Is there really anyone out there who hasn’t wondered what it would be like to have magic powers? Broomstick League takes its inspiration from a rather familiar sport out of a global phenomenon of a franchise, yet it refines it into a simplified game that makes more sense. We had the opportunity to take to the skies – broomsticks in hand – and feel that rush of wind on our faces as we flew through the air in pursuit of friendly victory. Curious how it played out? Broomstick League is a 1v1, 2v2, or 3v3 competitive online sports game which you can play with friends or random match-making. The game features a number of customization options for your witch or wizard including the face, uniform, wand, and broomstick among other things. You’ll work together to fly around the arena after a large magic ball to try and throw it through the enemies hoop, but magic abounds as you cast spells on the ball – and each other – in an attempt to win. Speed will play a large part in the game as well, as going too fast will make it harder to turn or slow down, so players will need to manage their trajectory on the fly. Consider this to be quidditch X Rocket League and you have a good idea of what to expect.
