Far Cry 5 – Five Things to do Other Than the Main Campaign
Far Cry 5 has been one of the most anticipated games of the year, and one of the several huge announcements from 2017. With the wait finally over, Far Cry 5 is now in the clutches of the people – it’s up to us to save Hope County! Trekking through the wilderness of Montana to take on the zealots and religious extremists can be tough work, so what is there to do to unwind after a long day of shooting/stabbing/burning/bashing/crushing them? I’m glad you asked! Here are 5 side activities to do in Far Cry 5 as a refresher to cool down after a long day of blowing up a gas station or sicking a bear on those baddies.
Far Cry 5 is the latest entry into the Far Cry series, Ubisoft’s first-person franchise that constantly pushes the boundaries of gaming. Players take on the roll of a sheriff’s deputy simply called the Rookie or Rook, who is tasked with arresting Joseph Seed, the head of a doomsday cult who is ruling the people of Hope County with fear and violence. Far Cry’s notorious open world gameplay is back with plenty to do as you progressively take down members of his congregation in your pursuit of Seed and his family. Players are given multiple options on how to complete missions and tasks, whether through direct force, stealth, or a combination of the two, as well as an array of companions to help you out.
Far Cry 5 is available now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One. For more information, check out the game’s official website.
