Montenevera Gym Badge Guide
While this is a pretty straightforward Gym, the battles are on the tricky side. Here’s how to get the Montenevera Gym Badge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
Montenevera is one of the two Gyms located on the icy mountains. You’ll definitely want to hit this one first. The Gym Test is just a series of double battles with an audience in attendance. Simple enough, so long as you have some Ghost-fighting types in your roster. Once the Test is over, it’s time to take on Ryme.
It’s a Pokemon rap battle! Well, it’s a Pokemon battle bookended by some truly awful rhyming. So long as you have some Ghost and Dark damage ready, you should be good to go. Banette and Houndstone are pure Ghost types, though Banette uses Icy Wind. Meanwhile, Mimikyu is a Ghost/Fairy hybrid, so Steel moves will also work. Finally, Toxtricity is a hot mess of type defenses. They already have Electric/Poison, and their Tera type is Ghost. Unless you have a good Ground attack, then this battle is crazy simple. Afterwards, the Montenevera Gym Badge is in your hands.
