Caph Squad Badge Guide
It’s time for the final Team Star base! And of course, it’s a real doozy. Here’s how to get the Caph Squad Badge in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.
You know the drill by now. Wipe out the minions, attract the attention of the big boss. In this case, that’s Eri. She layed me out multiple time before I figured out a proper strategy. This is another boss fight where overwhelming power is pretty much your only recourse. You’ll definitely want to be at least level 57 for this fight.
Toxicroak is Poison/Fighting hybrid. Psychic works well here, but watch out for that Sucker Punch. If that thing lands, your Psychic type is cooked. Passimian is a pure Fighting type. Psychic, Flying, or Fairy will win the day. Lucario will fall to a strong enough Psychic or Ground move. Annihilape is Fighting/Ghost. Psychic works just fine, but his Rage Fist move will end you. The Fighting type Revavroom is the real lynchpin of Eri’s game. Shift Gear boosts their speed and attack stats, which turns High Horsepower and Combat Torque into killing blows. If you can’t end this bout in one or two strikes you’ll be in real trouble. Take down Eri, and you’ll be rewarded with the Caph Squad Badge.
Thank you for keeping it locked on COGconnected.
