As we approach the end of Q3 and the start of Q4, September 2018 is here to start the annual flooding of big releases. With bigger and simply more titles releasing before the holiday season, as usual, we here at COGconnected are going to bring you eight games to keep an eye on in September 2018. Without further ado, lets jump right into the Top Video Games Arriving in September 2018.
Life is Strange 2 – PC, PS4, X1 – Sept 27
While some were unimpressed with the E3 reveal of The Adventures of Captain Spirit, the short title proved to be impressive, and fans of the series were soon treated to the reveal of Life is Strange 2. While the focus of the franchise shifts to another set of characters, brothers Sean and Daniel, players put their faith in Dontnod Entertainment for yet another superb story. The first episode of Life Is Strange 2 is set to drop at the end of September 2018.
Destiny 2: Forsaken – PC, PS4, X1 – Sept 4
Much like the original Destiny, Destiny 2’s launch was less than stellar, though the game has continually worked to improve itself through updates and expansion content. Alongside new story content, Destiny 2: Forsaken brings about new equipment, areas to explore, Supers, and perhaps most interestingly, the new Gambit mode which combines PvP and PvE elements in a 4v4 mode. As fans of Destiny’s concept, we look forward to seeing how the game continues to grow.
