3. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows – March 20
Assassin’s Creed: Shadows could have been the #1 game on The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in March 2025. But the last Assassin’s Creed game, Assassin’s Creed: Mirage, just came out in October 2023. And it was good, but not great. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows takes place in 15th century Japan, and will hopefully do something drastic to freshen up the series again. Ubisoft Quebec is the team that developed it, and their last Assassin’s Creed game was Odyssey, so it’s definitely possible. Assassin’s Creed: Shadows will be available for everything except the Switch.
2. Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition – March 20
Most people who keep their Wii U plugged-in, do so because of Xenoblade Chronicles X. It’s the only entry in the Xenoblade Chronicles series that hasn’t been released on the Switch, but that changes March 20. Even though this massive JRPG’s emphasis is less on narrative than the other Xenoblade games, it’s still the favorite entry of many. Because of all the excitement and hype behind it, Xenoblade Chronicles X: Definitive Edition almost tops The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in March 2025. It will be a Switch exclusive.
1. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars – March 6
The game that does top The Top 5 Video Games Arriving in March 2025, is another JRPG with even more hype behind it. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars was originally supposed to be released in 2023, but it was delayed for almost two years. The first two Suikoden games are two of the most beloved, and revered PS1 games, and they haven’t been available since the PS3. Modern players finally get to find out what all the fuss is about. Suikoden I & II HD Remaster: Gate Rune and Dunan Unification Wars will be available for all consoles and PC.
