3 – The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D
You have to give it to Grezzo, they know how to remake Zelda games. Following the excellent Ocarina of Time 3D, The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3D is even more impressive. The divisive Zelda entry is made more accessible as ever, and looks great with a new coat of paint.
2 – Sega’s 3D Classics
Okay, we cheated a bit (but that’s okay since it’s our list!), but Sega put out so many great 3D Classics that the majority of this list would’ve been taken up by their fantastic remakes. From the great soundtrack of 3D Streets of Rage II (although, let’s be real: III has the best soundtrack) to the satisfying action in 3D Gunstar Heroes, Sega made sure our 3DS never collected dust in 2015.
1 – SteamWorld Heist
Image & Form’s SteamWorld Heist is one of the best strategy games ever made. By focusing on the player’s skill instead of dice rolls, the Swedish dev managed to turn a genre on its head. There wasn’t a better 3DS game released in 2015, and this is one you can’t pass up.
