The Bad
Open Roads

Open Roads is a walking simulator that has pretty basic gameplay. That would be fine if the story was impactful, but our reviewer found it pretty bland. The plot was predictable, despite the well-written characters. The game’s high point is its visuals, but again, those aren’t enough to carry a game. Despite their complaints, our reviewer suggested “Genre regulars may want to take a chance as the time investment is low”. But there are plenty of other walking sims out there to try first.
Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition

COGconnected gave Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition, possibly the worst video game of all time, a score of 50/100. That’s because Limited Run’s remaster was made extremely lovingly. It’s a choose your own adventure-style FMV game with a mundane story and no actual video aside from a short intro clip. A major part of Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition’s appeal is the unlockable documentary that chronicles the game’s infamy, and eventual remaster. Our reviewer wrote “it’s so bad that it barely qualifies as a video game”. Plumbers Don’t Wear Ties: Definitive Edition is a must-experience for anyone who’s a fan of media that’s “so bad it’s good”.
South Park: Snow Day!

COGconnected gave South Park: Snow Day! a 69/100. That’s not a bad score, but no one at COGconnected can shake the feeling that the game is a massive disappointment. The last two South Park video games captured the show’s visuals and humor perfectly. South Park: Snow Day! is a bland arena shooter that mainly only succeeds because of the quality of its writing. Our reviewer concluded “I still enjoyed my time with these characters, even if it was over in the blink of an eye”. Hopefully the team at South Park Studios will keep updating the game as promised, and turn South Park: Snow Day! into something must-play for South Park fans.
