PlayStation 5 Pro (plus drive and stand)
This is the big gift if you’ve got the cash. The PlayStation 5 Pro isn’t cheap but it’s a significant upgrade to the original PlayStation 5. Lots of great games are being shined up for the Pro, too. Take note: if you want to use physical copies of games, you’ll need to buy the disk drive separately, as well as a stand for mounting the Pro vertically.
PlayStation Portal
For the gamer on the go, or at least the player who wants to go somewhere other than in front of their console and TV. Connects wirelessly to your PS5 via your network and lets you stream games right from your console.
PlayStation VR2
Although VR remains a relatively niche part of the gaming landscape, VR is producing more and more outstanding games. This was the year Sony released the PlayStation VR2 and it’s a solid headset with some great exclusives.
PlayStation Access Controller
Sony’s Access Controller for PS5 is a uniquely designed controller specially made for gamers with disabilities.
DualSense Edge Controller
Sony’s DualSense PS5 controller is already good, but the Edge Controller takes it up a notch with added buttons and programmability.
