Nintendo
Nintendo’s coming in strong this season, cutting prices for their handhelds and console. Walmart is discounting the WiiU system including Mario Kart 8 down to $279.96. We all know Mario Kart is one of the most endearing games of our generation — also the cause for many broken friendships. If you’re looking for a handheld system, Best Buy has the new Nintendo 3DS XL for $189.99 until December 26.\
- Nintendo WiiU Bundle Including Mario Kart 8 and Nintendo Land – $279.96(Walmart)
- Nintendo 2DS with Mario Kart 7 – $89.96(Walmart)
- New Nintendo 3DS XL – $189.99 (Best Buy) Â Â Â Â Â
- Animal Crossing: Happy Home Designer (3DS) – $34.99

Nintendo is doing a bang-up job of carving out their own niche, taking the route of innovation and style. In 2015, they dropped a new line of Amiibo figures to collect — also adding in new playable characters in the outrageous but endlessly fun Smash Bros including Mewtwo, Ryu and FF7’s Cloud Strife.Â
Accessories
If that isn’t enough, you can stock up on all the bells and whistles. EB Games is having their annual price chop from December 26th through December 31st. Load up on everything from action figures, shirts, board games to even your own remote control BB-8 Starwars droid. A few other note worthy sales include:

Overall the major three contenders for your business have very different approaches. Microsoft is giving a loaded bundle of many different games including 30 retro games, Sony is offering their award winning Uncharted trilogy with a chance to play the upcoming finale Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End — Nintendo is focusing on dropping the prices of their current roster of units including 2DS, 3DS and WiiU. With all this amazing value, there isn’t a better time in history to be a gamer. The only thing you have to worry about now is finding parking.
