SPECIAL MENTIONS
BioShock: The Collection – 2K Games – Sept 13 (Multiplatform)
The only reason we’ve put this into the special mention category is that this isn’t truly a new game. Putting all the BioShock games in one place, BioShock: The Collection takes three of the best games of last gen (well, two of them at least) and gives them the HD spit-shine in one tidy package. We can only hope that this might be the segue into an all new entry in the BioShock franchise. For now, you’ll just have to enjoy Rapture and Columbia!
Destiny: Rise of Iron – Activision – Sept 20 (PS4/X1)
Destiny receives another major expansion, this time leaving the past gen versions in the dust. Containing a new campaign, new missions, new PvE and PvP locations/modes, and of course new gear, it drops on Spet 20th. If you’ve never jumped on the Destiny bandwagon you can now jump in with everything the game has to offer with Destiny: The Collection which also release on Sept 20 and includes every piece of content to date.
INDIE SPOTLIGHT
The Tomorrow Children – Sony Interactive – Sept 6 (PS4)
Announced back in 2014 this indie adventure game developed by SIE Japan Studio and Q-Games finally releases as an early access title on Sept 6th. Described as “a mix of Minecraft-esque collaborative building, social economics and a Soviet Union-themed post-apocalyptic dystopia” the game will be a free-to-play title for the PS4. Only releasing in early access as The Tomorrow Children: Founder’s Pack we’ll still be waiting for the actual full release sometime soon.
