Tales from the Borderlands
All of Telltale Games’ story-focused games have featured easy trophies on PlayStation 4 (so feel free to play Batman or the title of your choosing instead), but Tales from the Borderlands is a safe bet for an enjoyable time. Despite being based upon Gearbox’s obnoxious first-person shooter, it features one of Telltale’s best stories. Simply playing through the game’s five episodes will allow the player to walk away with one more Platinum trophy than they had previously, and there’s nothing missable like in Minecraft: Story Mode or The Wolf Among Us.
Zero Escape: The Nonary Games
Two of the best handheld games ever made (999: Nine Hours, Nine Persons, Nine Doors and Virtue’s Last Reward) were recently ported to PlayStation 4, and that means trophies are now obtainable. These story heavy games directed by Kotaro Uchikoshi have players constantly solving puzzles in order to escape locked rooms, while also competing in devious SAW-like games. Getting the Platinum trophy will take some time (since you’ll have to see all of the endings to both games), but these are two stories that shouldn’t be missed.
