Beat the Heat in Goddess of Victory: NIKKE
Level Infinite and SHIFT UP have officially unveiled “Wave to You,” the next major summer update for Goddess of Victory: NIKKE, bringing a fresh wave of seasonal content to PC and mobile players on July 2.
The highlight of the update is a brand-new story event that sends the Commander and Cinderella to the mysterious South Burst Island after receiving an old photograph and an unexpected invitation. What begins as a relaxing beach vacation soon turns into a dangerous adventure as long-hidden secrets rise from beneath the ocean. Players will also face a terrifying new version of the Land Eater, which has evolved into an enormous island-sized boss lurking under the sea.
This year’s summer celebration also introduces two new swimsuit character variants. Cinderella receives the elegant Crystal Wave outfit, complete with a fun hidden costume mechanic, while Marciana arrives in Marine Study, balancing beach fashion with her signature penguin-themed look.
Players can also collect new summer costumes for Little Mermaid, Tia, and Naga through gacha and seasonal passes. Meanwhile, the new Island Breaker mini-game offers a relaxing arcade experience where players smash beach debris, battle Raptures, and earn rewards by chaining together satisfying combos.
Beyond the in-game content, NIKKE confirmed its return to Anime Expo 2026, featuring exclusive merchandise, cosplay activities, and fan experiences. The developers also teased a major collaboration planned for later this year, although details remain under wraps for now.
With plenty of new content, beach vibes, and surprises on the horizon, NIKKE’s summer update looks set to keep players busy throughout the season.
