Starship Troopers: Extermination Update 11 Introduces Field Showers, Daily Missions, and More

Starship Troopers: Extermination Just Got Way Bigger

Offworld, together with publisher Knights Peak, has released Update 11 for Starship Troopers: Extermination, introducing a mix of fresh gameplay features, quality of life improvements, performance optimizations, and bug fixes.

One of the most unexpected additions is the Field Shower, a new buildable structure available in every Build Zone. More than just a humorous feature, it serves several practical purposes. Troopers can use it to extinguish flames, wash away blood and gore, restore health, and earn a temporary combat boost after completing the Federation’s full standardized shower. The bonus improves movement speed, jumping, climbing, weapon accuracy, and Morale XP gains.

The update also introduces Daily Dispatches, offering a rotating selection of missions that award extra combat experience and contribute to long-term progression. Fleet Command currently offers 47 Critical Dispatches, with more planned for future updates.

Another major addition is the DSV Service Record system, which tracks a player’s military career across combat actions, deployments, specializations, and completed missions. Reaching Service Record milestones grants Career Experience, allowing Troopers to rise through the ranks of the Mobile Infantry.

Alongside the free update, Offworld and Knights Peak have released the Tesla Giants Supporter Pack for $2.99. Inspired by the legendary Jump Ball team from Zander Barcalow’s high school, the cosmetic bundle includes a themed helmet visor, armor uniform, helmet decal, and weapon skin.

Starship Troopers: Extermination is available now on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC via Steam. Update 11 brings plenty of reasons for both recruits and veteran Troopers to jump back into the fight.
