Kenshiro Is Coming to FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves
SNK Corporation has unveiled a new character trailer for Kenshiro from Fist of the North Star, confirming that the iconic warrior will arrive in South Town this June. Fans will also get an early hands-on opportunity, as Kenshiro will be playable at EVO Las Vegas, scheduled for June 26 to 28. His arrival follows his initial reveal at AnimeJapan 2026, marking a major crossover moment for FATAL FURY: City of the Wolves.
Kenshiro brings a distinctive fighting style built around speed, precision, and overwhelming power. His toolkit features fast and punishing strikes, along with unique mechanics such as point activations and status-based changes that add depth to his gameplay. With strong combo potential and a technical edge, he is designed to control space effectively and keep opponents constantly on edge.
Known as the “Savior of the Century’s End,” Kenshiro is the sole successor of the deadly Hokuto Shinken martial art. Bearing seven scars across his chest, he enters South Town driven by a mysterious force tied to the art he has mastered. Despite finding himself in a modern city rather than his usual post-apocalyptic world, his mission remains unchanged: protect the weak and deliver justice to those who exploit them.
In Arcade Mode, Kenshiro joins forces with fighters like Terry, Hokutomaru, and Hotaru as he sets his sights on Wolfgang Krauser. Meanwhile, Episodes of South Town explore a darker mystery surrounding a strange miasma engulfing the city.
Kenshiro will be available through Season Pass 2 or as part of the discounted Legend Edition. It’s a crossover that feels both unexpected and fitting, bringing a legendary hero into a new battlefield.
