Microids has officially revealed Garfield – Escape from Monday, a fresh 3D platforming adventure that sends the iconic orange cat on one of his strangest journeys yet. Developed by OSome Studio, the game will launch on September 24, 2026, across Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
This new title brings Garfield back in a way that blends nostalgia with a more dynamic gameplay experience. Players will guide him through a bizarre dream world and master fluid feline movement. There are also special abilities thanks to his three unique costumes. Whether dressed as a turkey, a surfer, or a cowboy, each outfit introduces its own twist to gameplay. It will help Garfield tackle puzzles, enemies, and larger boss encounters scattered throughout the adventure.
The story takes a strange turn when Garfield is fed a spinach lasagna inspired by Chef Monday. What follows is a surreal nightmare full of everything he dislikes, from vegetables to sugar-free treats. Trapped in this chaotic dream, Garfield must push forward, exploring strange environments packed with challenges and plenty of lasagna along the way.
He will not be alone either. Familiar faces like Jon, Odie, Arlene, and Pookie appear throughout the journey, offering support as Garfield tries to escape and restore his love for food.
