SWAPMEAT Is Blasting Out of Steam Early Access on 17th June

Get Ready for the Full SWAPMEAT Experience

SWAPMEAT is finally ready to leave early access, with developer One More Game confirming its full 1.0 launch on June 17, 2026. After months of updates and player feedback, the chaotic third-person shooter roguelite is arriving with a massive content drop that reshapes the experience in meaningful ways.

The full release will introduce new planets to explore, fresh mutations to experiment with, and a range of quality-of-life improvements that smooth out the fast-paced gameplay. Most notably, players will now be able to face off against the long-awaited final boss, marking a major milestone for the game’s progression.

Just in case you haven’t heard of the game, in SWAPMEAT, players step into the role of Squishy, a shape-shifting operative working for Rangus Corp. Instead of relying on traditional upgrades, you grow stronger by swapping body parts with defeated enemies. Heads, torsos, and legs each come with unique abilities, allowing for countless build combinations and strategies that evolve with every encounter.

The game supports both solo play and cooperative runs, letting players tackle waves of bizarre, meat-like enemies together or alone. Between runs, Squishy can be upgraded with new abilities, while permanent weapon progression ensures that each attempt feels rewarding. Difficulty scaling, random world events, and optional challenges keep each run unpredictable and engaging.

With its full launch, SWAPMEAT looks set to deliver its most complete and refined version yet across PC, Mac, and Steam Deck. It has been a long time coming, but this wild and inventive shooter now feels ready to fully show what it is capable of.
