Pulse Drive Opens Steam Playtest to Players Worldwide

Feel the Rhythm in Pulse Drive

Solo developer Nemi has officially launched the Steam Playtest for Pulse Drive, offering players an early chance to jump into the experience and help shape the game ahead of its full release. The playtest is currently live, allowing interested users to try out the game and provide valuable feedback during development.

Pulse Drive blends arcade-style racing with rhythm-based mechanics, creating a unique gameplay loop where speed is directly tied to timing. Players must tap inputs in sync with the beat to accelerate, turning each race into a musical performance. The better the timing, the faster the vehicle moves, adding an engaging layer of skill to the racing formula.

Set across a series of dreamlike environments suspended high in the atmosphere, the game features futuristic hover vehicles that glide, jump, and soar through visually striking tracks. The full experience will include 50 unique tracks spread across five campaigns, each offering increasing levels of difficulty to test player precision and mastery.

In addition to solo play, Pulse Drive supports offline gameplay as well as online leaderboards. Here, players can compete against friends and others worldwide. A medal system further tracks progress, rewarding skillful performance across different challenges.

With its distinctive mix of rhythm and racing mechanics, Pulse Drive aims to stand out in the arcade racing genre. The ongoing playtest marks an important step in refining the experience, giving players a direct role in shaping the final version of the game.
